For Resort 2027, PH5 explores the emotional and visual magic of sunset, that fleeting transition between day and night when color softens, light diffuses, and everything feels momentarily suspended in beauty.
The collection began with an observation from our own community. Again and again, customers tagged PH5 in sunset photographs around the world. There was something instinctive and intangible in these images: a natural pull toward wearing PH5 pieces during this transitional hour. Whether on vacation balconies, city rooftops, beaches, or streets glowing in evening light, our clothing seemed to come alive at sunset.
As we looked closer, the images fell into two emotional worlds.
The first captured pieces whose colors and prints radiated intensely even as the light dimmed, garments that almost glowed against the fading sky. Vibrant engineered knits, tropical motifs, and optical patterns became illuminated during golden hour, holding onto daylight just a little longer.
The second revealed softer moments: silhouettes and color palettes that blended seamlessly into the romance of sunset itself. These pieces carried a quieter sensuality, hazy gradients, washed tones, fluid textures, and delicate transitions that mirrored the sky as it shifted from warmth into dusk.
These two moods form the foundation of the collection. Literal sunset visuals appear throughout, alongside graphic patterns specifically designed to stand out within sunset light. Tropical-inspired prints evoke the longing and fantasy of holiday evenings, those rare moments when we allow ourselves to fully stop, watch the sky transform, and become consumed by nature’s spectacle. Sunset becomes both destination and emotional state. Iconic PH5 gradient artworks are exaggerated to capture last light of the day. Trompe l’oeil corsetry and drape bring PH5 into the evening, after dark dressing.
