RESPONSIBLE

Our definition of a “responsible” product is that 75% of the material composition is from preferred sources that are certified organic, lower impact or recycled. For example, Ecovero Viscose, recycled nylon & GOTS cotton.

At PH5, innovation in knitwear begins with materials. Our brand has long explored how advanced & experimental knitting technology and thoughtful textile sourcing can shape a more responsible approach to fashion. Over 85% of our collection meets our definition of responsible products, and we are working hard to get that number to 100%. Responsible materials are not treated as a separate category at PH5, they are integrated directly into the design process.

By combining engineered knitwear techniques with responsibly sourced yarns, PH5 develops garments that are designed to reduce waste while maintaining the structure, texture, and sculptural forms the brand is known for.

A defining aspect of PH5’s design process is its use of zero-waste engineered knitting techniques. Unlike traditional cut-and-sew manufacturing, our knit garments are produced to the shape of each pattern piece with minimal material waste. On top of this, when we make a production mistake we unwind the piece separating the yarns to be reused.
